Nokia and Clarion for a Terminal Mode(0) Nokia and Clarion announced about their future cooperation over a project of Terminal Mode. This feature has a goal of making the mobile device and car infotainment system to collaborate in a best possible way. This is going to be the third cooperation with such a giant company for Nokia. The earlier deals include Alpine and Harman. All of this is going back to the project CE4A when Nokia was cooperating with German Automakers. This means that the actual idea to make the new application into a reality is the toughest goal for Nokia now. The bad thing about this all that there’s no actual product to have a look out. Hopefully the Clarion cooperation will be more fruitful. |

Nokia N8 Camera Functioning Great in Bad Lighting Conditions(1) The camera of the device Nokia N8 leaves no doubt when having a look at the photos taken my the camera. This makes it to be considered one of the best Nokia phones so far. But most of the photographs taken by the camera of Nokia N8 were made at a sufficiently bright light. So evaluation of the quality of the smartphone camera was pretty hard. For that main purpose we offer to have a better look at all of it. This portion of images were made in the most extreme low light conditions. As we can judge from the images they have a pretty high quality. Although there’s a little bit of blur on them all, which was also present in case of the normal lighting and is typical for most of the Nokia phones. Recall that in the Nokia N8 is a 12-megapixel camera with Autofocus, Xenon flash, Carl Zeiss optics and multiple shooting modes. Well, the photos taken are quite impressive. Feels like Nokia finally got the best camera ever! |

NFC ONLY for Symbian^4 Devices?(0) What? As we all remember the top manager of Nokia Anssi Vanjoki announced only recently that next year all Nokia phones will support NFC. But the thing is that it turned out to be a wrong info! Anssi Vanjoki didn’t mention that the NFC will appear on all phones of the Finnish company, as reported by many sources including ourselves. In fact, he had in mind that “next year NFC technology will be included in the portfolio of smartphones based on Symbian ^ 4″. This means that firstly we have to wait until the actual release of the new OS, then get some devices running it and then finally get the NFC? Huh. What a disappointment! Anyways we cannot change anything. In other words, NFC will be used not in all Nokia phones, but only in smartphones based on Symbian ^ 4. |

Nokia To Support NFC in 2011(0) Despite the failure of Nokia to release 6216 classic, which was going to the first phone from the Finnish manufacturer supporting NFC (Near Field Communication), the company does not renounce the idea of using this technology on their mobile phones. This support will allow smartphone owners to make payments using their mobile devices (such as fare on the subway), and share content with other NFC-devices.On the contrary, in 2011 Nokia smartphones will support NFC, however, as well as SWP (Single Wire Protocol), which will use the NFC through the SIM card. Nokia is also releasing a set of tools for third-party developers so that they can integrate NFC-functions in their applications for smartphones which is also a cool idea to develop. |
