According to recent information, USA’s number two largest carrier AT&T and Nokia are in negotiations to bring Nokia’s Windows Phones to the US market next year. It’s widely known that Nokia is keen on re-establishing its footing in the US market.

In particular, at a conference held in Barcelona Glenn Lurie, the head of AT&T’s tablet units, said that they are very careful in deciding where to invest. “But nothing to announce there on that yet,” he said. Nevertheless, Nokia CEO Stephen Elop has already announced they’re planning to re-enter the US market next year on multiple carriers. It is definite that Nokia is nervous about not being on stable grounds in one of the largest world markets.

AT&T has currently quite a number of phones to offer its US consumers from iPhones to Android devices, but it’s not been in cooperation with Nokia so far, so hopefully it’ll be in place sometime next year for the negotiations between AT&T and Nokia are said to be in their final stages.
