If you love Brazil and like to gather facts about this exotic country, then the next thing you have to add to your knowledge database is it will be the country where the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 will be produced specifically for the Latin American market. Yes, the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 are both preparing to travel to Latin America.

Since its release the Nokia Lumia 800 has been enjoying a huge success in European countries. All black marketing attempts of Nokia’s competitors to undervalue Nokia’s flagship smartphone turn vain since there are sale figures, which speak for themselves. Things are particularly going well for the Lumia 800 in the UK, France and Netherlands, where the Lumia 800 is an equal purchase choice alongside with the iPhone 4S. One of the Netherlands’ biggest mobile carriers KPN reports the Lumia 800 even outran the iPhone 4s and climbed to the top position in sales figures. One of the attractions of the Lumia 800 is its XBOX 360 application, which will help users control entertainment services on Xbox Live.

Now people in Latin America get more impatient, since they do not know when exactly the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 will be launched in their countries. Brazil, Columbia, Chile, Mexico and Puerto Rico are all waiting for these two smartphones sometime in the January-February 2012 period, as Nokia’s CEO Stephen Elop indicated. Some rumors say these countries may get the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 even before North American countries. Interestingly, this list of Latin American countries did not include Argentina and Venezuela. Is this just an omission?
