Nokia 500 vs. HTC Wildfire S. Which One is Better? Nokia 500 vs. HTC Wildfire S. Which One is Better?(1)

The Nokia 500 was announced only several days ago, but it has already caught the attention of many geeks with its Symbian Anna OS and low price. HTC is also offering quite an interesting device – the Android-based HTC Wildfire S, which isn’t very expensive and has good features, too.

Let’s try to compare these two entry-level smartphones and see which one is better.

Design

The HTC Wildfire S looks like all the other HTC smartphones based on Android, nothing new or extraordinary. The Nokia 500 is more recognizable, if I can say so, and you’ll never mix it up with any other device. Besides, it has two interchangeable back covers of different colors – you can choose the one that best suits your mood. Do you like it? I do!

Display

Both Nokia’s and HTC’s smartphones have 3.2-inch displays, but the Nokia 500’s screen is more narrow and tall, and its resolution is higher — 360 x 640, while the Wildfire S’s resolution is only 320 x 480. I can’t say which display’s form factor is better – Nokia’s long and narrow one or HTC’s “square” one – it’s a matter of taste. But the higher resolution is always better, so the Nokia 500 is surely a winner in this category.

Processors

The Nokia 500 has a 1GHz processor (it’s Nokia’s first smartphone with such a CPU, by the way!), and the HTC Wildfire S’s SPU is only 600MHz. And no matter how much we say that the number of “MHz”s is not that important (once we compared the 1GHz processor of the Motorola Atrix 4G with the 800MHz processor of the Nokia N8, and the Nokia smartphone won, remember?), this 400MHz difference will surely play its role and affect the smartphone’s performance.

Platform

The Nokia 500, as I mentioned above, is running Symbian Anna, and the HTC Wildfire S is based on the most popular OS nowadays – Android. I can’t say which OS is better – it’s also a matter of taste. I myself prefer Android, but I can’t help mentioning that Symbian Anna is not worse at all – it also has a big number of great features, and Nokia’s Ovi Store offers many good apps and services.

Camera

Both smartphones we’re trying to compare have 5MP cameras with VGA video recording capability. Since the Nokia 500 isn’t released yet, we haven’t seen its camera in work, so we don’t know what images it can provide. However, everybody knows that Nokia has always equipped its smartphones with great cameras (remember the Nokia N8), which HTC has always failed to do. So I guess the Nokia 500’s 5MP camera will be cooler than the HTC Wildfire S’s one…

Other features

I guess we should also try to compare the connectivity features of these two smartphones, though there isn’t much to compare here. Both have microUSB, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth (though the Bluetooth version of the Wildfire S is a bit newer – 3.0 against 2.1). On the other hand, the Nokia 500 has HSDPA connectivity support up to 14.4Mbps, which is two times more than the Wildfire S’s speed.

So… what can I add? These two smartphones seem to be similar in many aspects, but if I were to choose, I would choose the Nokia 500, since it looks better, it has a stronger processor and higher screen resolution. The rest is up to you…

Top 3 Symbian^3 Must-Have Apps Top 3 Symbian^3 Must-Have Apps(1)

A friend of mine has recently bought a Nokia C7. It’s not the latest or the best smartphone made by Nokia, of course, but it’s elegant and has rather good features for its price, so I can understand why he chose it. He’s never had a Symbian^3 based smartphone before, so he had no idea what apps to install.

Here are the 3 must-have Symbian^3 apps (IMHO), and I hope this little list will be useful for him and all the others who are new to Symbian.

1. Swype

Swype, Swype, Swype! If you are going to input much text in your smartphone, I’m sure you won’t like using the default pad. Swype will help you input any text on any screen much easier and faster by continuously moving your finger (or stylus pen ) from letter to letter. Besides, Swype has many built-in languages (at least English, Spanish, Canadian French and Brazilian Portuguese), and you can install additional languages, too. So Swype is really a must-have app for almost every smartphone user.

2. Nimbuzz

Nimbuzz is a very useful app that gives you the opportunity to group all your friends and contacts, call them, send messages (using a big list of services including Skype, MSN, Google Talk, AIM, Yahoo Messenger and many others), chat online and share some files with them. And it will be for free if you use Wi-Fi (free Wi-Fi, of course). Even if you don’t use Wi-Fi, you’ll have a great opportunity to make calls that will be much cheaper than usual, no matter where your friends are.

3. Ovi Maps

You won’t have to search for and install Ovi Maps – they come pre-installed in all Nokia smartphones. But I can’t help mentioning this app, since it offers free navigation and is very useful. Android users have Google Maps, and Symbian^3 users have Ovi Maps!

Symbian Anna Changes for Nokia N8 Symbian Anna Changes for Nokia N8(4)

Soon the Nokia N8 will be updated to Symbian Anna and get a list of new attractive features. The device was released about 18 months ago, and despite the rumors about the Nokia N9, it is not losing its popularity among the customers.

The Nokia N8 has all of the features to be included in the list of the top high-end devices coming with a 12MP camera and great design. And here is the list of the features coming with Symbian Anna:

  1. Portrait QWERTY keyboard. The earlier landscape-only version of the QWERTY keyboard is now going to be replaced a the portrait mode keyboard. Some believe that this will be a great improvement for those who use one hand for the typing.
  2. Nokia Web Browser 7.3. The new platform is going to bring in an updated browser version. Web browser 7.3 is going to be more comfortable in use and will have many new features. The address bar is going to be on the main menu, which will make the use of the browser easier.
  3. New icons. The AMOLED screen of the Nokia N8 is going to be “decorated” with rounded icons. Their number hasn’t changed, but the style seems to be more charming.
  4. Calendar. The new calendar is going to be faster. Here you can use the empty box straight forward and type in events in the calendar, which was more difficult earlier.
  5. 30fps video with auto-focus. No comment here!

Symbian Smartphones Are More Expensive Than Android Devices Symbian Smartphones Are More Expensive Than Android Devices(2)

Nokia’s Q2 2011 results were really terrible. Nokia lost about $692 million, IDC’s reports on Nokia weren’t satisfying as well… Not to mention the fact that Nokia was always popular in Europe, but now it’s giving way to iOS and Android-based smartphones everywhere, including the UK.

Why does this happen? Many experts express different opinions, and unwiredview.com is sure that the reason of Nokia’s crash is the fact that Nokia’s Symbian-based smartphones are more expensive than Android smartphones with similar features.

They provided this Infographic to prove their words. The prices were taken from Amazon.de.

As we can see from the pic above, the HTC Desire (€319), the LG Optimus 2X (€333) and the Samsung Galaxy SL (€291) are in the same category as the Nokia N8, but Nokia’s smartphone is much more expensive than the others – it costs €345.

The next category includes the HTC Wildfire S (€236), the Motorola Defy (€243), the Samsung Galaxy Ace (€219) and the Nokia C7 (€256), and again Nokia’s device costs €13 more than the Defy and €37 more than the Galaxy Ace.

In the next category of cheaper smartphones including the LG Optimus One, the HTC Wildfire, the Samsung Galaxy 3 and the Nokia C6-01, Nokia’s Symbian-based smartphone is again more expensive than the Android smartphones of other manufacturers.

In the category of smartphones with slide-out keyboards the Nokia E7 (€367) costs €88 more than the Motorola Milestone (€279) and €18 more than the HTC Desire Z (€349).

The last category includes the so-called “musical smartphones” like the Sony-Ericcson Xperia Arc (€375), the HTC Desire HD (€390), the Samsung Galaxy S (€319) and the Nokia X7 (€379). Only in this category HTC’s device is the most expensive one, but the price difference between the Nokia X7 and the Samsung Galaxy S (which, by the way, looks much better, IMHO) is still tangible.

So Nokia’s Symbian smartphones are more expensive than most of Android smartphones, so no wonder most of us prefer to buy devices based on Google’s OS (especially when we remember that everyone says that Android is cool and Symbian is dying). So if Nokia wants to stay alive and to reconquer its lost market shares, switching to Windows Phone isn’t enough, they should also review their pricing policies.

Three Great Symbian^3 Games for Nokia Three Great Symbian^3 Games for Nokia(4)

There are many good games designed for Nokia’s Symbian^3 OS, but in this post I tried to select and introduce only those I enjoy most of all. And here they are…

1. Since I’m an RPG-addict, there’s nothing odd in the fact that the first game in my list is an RPG, and it’s called Eternal Legacy HD. It has great 3D graphics and an interesting plot. As in any RPG, you can travel and explore the world of the game for many hours, talk to people you meet (make them join your team, take quests, learn some secrets from them), enjoy the well-made fights and try to save Algoad and restore the bond between nature and humans.

You can download this game from here for $4.99.

And here is a video demonstrating this cool game on the Nokia N8. Check it out.

2. Not everyone likes playing RPG. It takes much time and concentration, after all, so many people prefer more simple games. That’s why the second game in my list is a simple 2D game that has something in common with the famous Angry Birds (no, no Angry Birds in my list!). I’m speaking about the game called Fragger that can be found in the Ovi Store for €3.00.

Fragger is a puzzle game based on physics laws developed by Miniclip, and it runs on Symbian^3 and Symbian Anna devices. Your task is to throw grenades at some far objects and enemies and explode them. 10 different words, 310 game levels of Fragger will guarantee you many hours of fun.

You can have a look at the gameplay of Fragger here, in this video:

3. The third game from my list is a bit strange, but unusual and interesting anyway. TreeMaker is developed by Mikrotie Ltd for Symbian^3-based smartphones. Your task is to control a funny black bird that jumps from one platform to another like the Spiderman and “makes” (or grows or whatever)… trees! No matter how strange it sounds, the game seems to be very interesting.

On this video you can see how the game works on the Nokia N950:

You can download the game from the Ovi Store for €1.00. Please note that the game is 55.66MB and it takes about three minutes to install it (Nokia Smart will automatically run before the game installer).

Nokia Oro Vs Nokia C7: Find Three Differences Nokia Oro Vs Nokia C7: Find Three Differences(0)

In the end of May the gorgeous Nokia Oro was officially introduced. It’s a really cool smartphone with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 8MP camera, GPS, a number of other things common for all modern smartphones and… gold, sapphire and leather. Well, what else could you expect for $1635 – that’s how much it costs!

Actually, the Nokia Oro is almost the same Nokia C7. Well, excluding the luxury part. And in this post I’ll try to find out what are the main differences between these two smartphones.

1. Gold, sapphire and leather from outside

The first difference between the Nokia Oro and the Nokia C7 is, of course, the appearance. The C7 comes in three colors (Black, Silver and Mahogany), and the Oro has only two versions (Light and Dark edition that differ with the homescreen theme and with the light or dark leather on the backplate; both versions use sapphire on the frontplate). Besides, the Nokia Oro, as I’ve already mentioned, “wears” a posh 18-carat gold plated jacket and is a bit heavier and thicker than the C7.

2. Symbian Anna from inside

Symbian Anna is the latest version of the Symbian^3 OS that comes with a number of improvements, including a new web browser, a better Calendar and better performance. The Nokia Oro comes with Symbian Anna pre-installed, while the C7 comes with the older version. But – good news for the owners of the Nokia C7! You’ll get the OS update soon, most likely in August.

3. Camera and Bluetooth headsets

Both smartphones have an 8MP camera with full focus and LED flash that can shoot HD videos at 720p. But the Oro’s camera has 30fps recording, and the C7 has only 25fps. As for the Bluetooth headset I mentioned above, it’s also plated in 18ct gold, and the Nokia Oro includes them in the box, while the C7 has a usual headset.

Nokia N8 Vs. Nokia N9 Nokia N8 Vs. Nokia N9(0)

Since the official announcement of the Nokia N9 it’s a hot topic. Thus it’s quite reasonable to mention the main aspects that distinguish the novelty from its older brother of the N series — the Nokia N8. In particular, you will find 11 differences between them.

1. Screen Size

The Nokia N8 has a capacitive 3.5 inch touchscreen, while the Nokia N9 is 0.4 inches longer (3.9-inches).

2. Screen Resolution

The screen resolution of the N8 is 360 x 640 pixels, while the Nokia N9 boasts 480 x 854 pixels.

3. Dimensions

The N9 is thinner than the N8. The dimensions of the phones look like this:

N8 – 113,5 (D) x 59.1 (W) x 12.9 (T) mm
N9 – 116,5 (D) x 61.2 (W) x 12.1 (T) mm

4. Sound

While both phones have 3.5mm headphone jacks, the Nokia N9 is the first smartphone in the world with support for Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby Headphone.

5. Camera

The Nokia N9 is equipped with an 8MP camera with optics Carl Zeiss, auto-focus and dual LED flash, but the elder brother has 12MP and xenon flash. Both can shoot video with a resolution of 720p HD,  the Nokia N9 shoots 30 frames per second, while the N8 shoots slightly less — 25. But with the release of OS  updates the N8 owners have the opportunity to take  30 frames per second.

6. CPU

The N8 runs a 680MHz ARM 11 processor, while the Nokia N9 has a CPU with 1 GHz (Cortex A8), so we can expect that the novelty will be faster than its predecessor.

7. Memory, Bluetooth

The Nokia N8 has 256 MB of RAM, while the Nokia N9 has 1GB memory, which allows multi-tasking, too. The N8 has Bluetooth 3.0, but the Nokia N9 is equipped with Bluetooth 2.1.

8. Operating system

The Nokia N8 works, as it turned out, with the operating system without a future — Symbian ^ 3. The Nokia N9 received MeeGo v1.2 Harmattan.

9. Swipe

The N8  has 3 custom desktops that allow you to use up to 18 possible widgets. The N9 interface uses ‘Swipe,’ which is much more convenient and comfortable.

10. NFC

The Nokia N9 as well as the Nokia C7 support the NFC technology, something that current N series flagships can not boast.

11. Buttons

The buttons on the N8  are placed in the lower left corner. The N9 has no buttons! This makes it the world’s first touchscreen smartphone without buttons.

Nokia Nautilus: Concept That Never Became Reality Nokia Nautilus: Concept That Never Became Reality(0)

People create many interesting concepts of devices for different manufacturers, but not all of them become a reality, since the companies don’t have enough resources, and besides, not all the concepts are really interesting. Manufacturers decide to create smartphones based on concepts only if they are expected to become best-sellers and bring huge incomes.

Among the range of the non-released Nokia concepts, the most amazing one was the Nokia Nautilus, which was rumored to fulfill the Nseries. The designer concept was created by the same enthusiast who had created Care font. The smartphone should bring in two main innovations to the Nokia handsets. The first one is the “z-pop” speaker, which is designed to expand the phone along its z-axis, bringing a whole new level of speaker power. The second feature was the bundled keychain, which sounds an alarm when being moved beyond a certain range of devices.

The Nokia Nautilus was also announced to come up with an exclusive leather back part, which was the most unrealistic component of the handset. To tell the truth, the overall design of the smartphone resembled the popular Nokia C7, which was equipped with Symbian^3 OS.

I still think that if Nokia decided to release this smartphone, there are two things that needed to be changed — the dimension of the display should be increased and a hardware keyboard should be added.

Nokia 3110 Hardiness Story Nokia 3110 Hardiness Story(0)

There are multiple ways to create a good image for your devices if you’re a manufacturer, but there are only a few ways that will increase the actual sales of the phone. The latest piece of news about the Nokia 3110 seems to be a fairly tale, which might be just a PR step from Nokia.

The story starts with an email from Karin Vaneker, who claims about the fact that a year ago she put her Nokia 3110 somewhere in the house and could not find it. The has turned the house upside down but even then she wasn’t able to find it. Then came the idea of replacing the device with a new one. A whole year later the phone was found by Karin’s daughter. It turned out that the device was left in the vase between the “Tulips and Narcissuses.”

The owner of the gadget makes us believe that she was skeptical about whether the device would still function, but her sister was claiming that it “has to work because it’s a Nokia.” And actually it did work. After experiencing a full battery charge, the device started to work the way that it used to do before the mysterious lost.

There’s no way to find out how the device managed to work after a year spent next to the flowers, but it really sounds impressive. Do you also plan to get a Nokia device now?

Nokia E7 Review Nokia E7 Review(1)

There are many manufacturers offering many smartphones for different kinds of users. Often such strategy succeeds, but when words come to Nokia it seems everything will be very difficult as every device the company launched meets a harsh criticism. But surprisingly the Nokia E7 didn’t have such problems and was welcomed with a great enthusiasm. Probably its special design makes people forget all the antipathy they have got to Symbian^3 platform. Anyway, this business smartphone has won its worthy place among other high-end smartphones.

First the Nokia E7 was announced in September, 2010 and in February we saw its arrival in many European countries, especially the UK was the first ones that offered this handset to its consumers. As the phone was released via the main carriers there were different kinds of data plans making it more comfortable to choose this handset. Three UK offers it for free with £35 (about $58) and £40 ($66) contracts. Almost the same conditions were offered via Vodafone, Orange, or T-Mobile for £469 (US$768), of course this is the SIM-free version. And before launching in the US the phone became available in other counties such as New Zealand, Canada, etc. Finally the E7 reached to US shores at the beginning of April and was offered for $649. As you see the price talks about the phone’s advantages and class itself.

Design

The phone looks quite attractive and it is impossible not to agree with this argument. The form-factor it comes in is quite different from other sliding handsets, because screen is tint in such way that is the most comfortable for working. There is very little amount of smartphones with such display, but no one of them has so well designed keyboard.

Generally, the Nokia E7 has very compact design, and it comes in dimensions of 123.7×62.4×13.6mm and weighs 176g. So we can state it is one of the slimmest smartphones with sliding QWERTY keyboard. That means holding it in hands we have got a feel of an ordinary phone, but deepening in its feature the vision is changed immediately.

Its metal body gives an unusual solid view to the phone and other plastic phones looks like a cheap child’s toy compared with the E7. The breakout shell of the device is developed very well and when you open the keyboard there is not any inconvenience. This technology was got from an earlier smartphone and in this aspect the Finnish manufacturer has once again demonstrated the highest class. Plus, you don’t have to pull the display wholly, you just have to push it in 5mm and the all other “job” the phone will do itself. After opening the display stands at 30-degree angle making it very comfortable for watching videos, viewing pictures or capturing photos.

Hardware

On the top of the smartphone we can find an on/off button which is also used to unlock the handset. There are also located a standard 3.5-millimeter audio jack for headphones, mini-HDMI under the flap, the charging indicator, and USB-connector.

On front of the device we can see a speaker and a secondary camera for video calling. The front panel is also equipped with a light sensor and at the bottom of the Nokia E7 the developers located the only physical button which is responsible for the menu and switching between applications. Standard elements are placed on the back: it is the lens and an 8MPcamera (they say the upcoming iPhone 5 will also have such a camera), speakerphone and microphone.

On the right side of the body are located the volume keys and the zoom and dedicated camera key. At the top of the right end we can find a slot for a SIM card, which is completely removed from the housing device. Well, the bottom face is located the microphone.

Display

The Nokia E7 sports the biggest display among all other Nokia handsets. So we can assume there is not any other Nokia handset with a 4-inch touchscreen. But do not think this phone boasts only by the sizes of its display as the screen comes with the best quality and it is a very hard deal to injure it.

The Nokia E7 is equipped with an innovative capacitive touch screen made with the help of ClearBlack technology, which has high contrast and color reproduction, and also lets you save battery power. Improved reflectivity of the screen makes users to look the pictures more clearly in direct sunlight, and the black color is displayed in natural ways. The screen has a resolution of 640x360pixels (16:9) and can display 16 million colors. The display supports multitouch technology to scale images, web-pages, maps Ovi Maps, etc.

QWERTY keyboard

The smartphone is equipped with a full QWERTY keyboard that is located under the display. So taking the device with both hands and turning it horizontally users can easier tap. When you open the keyboard display automatically switches from portrait mode to landscape.

The keys are located at some distance from each other, allowing them touching adjacent characters. The backlighting is white and uniform, so taping in the dark is not difficult.

The keys have also got special symbols on them and if we want to switch to them there is a special key located in the lower left corner of the keyboard.

Camera

The Nokia E7 is equipped with an 8MP camera with a dual-LED flash. The images are saved in JPEG or EXIF formats. It has got several shooting modes:
automatic – all parameters are set automatically, ideal for everyday shooting
user – you can manually set the necessary parameters (flash settings, white balance, color effects, sharpness, contrast, etc.)
portrait
landscape – is used for shooting on the street
night – is used for shooting in low light conditions without flash
night portrait – is used to create a portrait photos in low light with flash.
Unfortunately the camera doesn’t have got an autofocus which means you can’t get macro shots.
And finally the handset sports a secondary VGA camera on front that is used for video calling.

Nokia E7 sample photos

Nokia E7 video test can be watched here.

Battery

The phone is packed with a standard 1200mAh battery. At first sight the battery of the Nokia E7 is weak but developers have optimized power consumption of this smartphone. So users can watch videos up to 6 hours, listen to music up to 45 hours or play games up to 4 hours. It was officially announced the battery provides up to 540 minutes in GSM and 300 minutes in net WCDMA of talk time and 430 hours in GSM and 470 hours on WCDM in stand-by mode.

Connectivity

A USB-connector on the Nokia E7 is designed for both the charger and data transfer. It’s a standard USB 2.0 device allowing users to transfer files up to 4 Mbps. One of the advantages of this USB port is the On-The-Go (OTG) functionality. That means we can connect a simple USB flash or an external hard disk and view its content. But the Nokia E7 recognizes only those devices that are in FAT32 system.

Built-in Wi-Fi module supports standard 802.11 b/g/n. WLAN Wizard can scan for available networks and create a connection. Switching between WiFi and WLAN connections is done automatically. And users of the Nokia E7 have no need to do it manually.

Bluetooth wireless technology can establish a wireless connection to other compatible devices, such as other phones, computers, headsets and car kits. The phone is equipped with a Bluetooth v3.0 + EDR that can be found in a little number of devices currently (Nokia N8, C7, C6-01, Samsung Wave и Wave II). So users can transfer files only between such devices that are compatible with the Nokia E7. But if you find such devices the transfer speed will be at 3Mbps.

With the help of an HDMI port the content of the phone can be viewed TV. For this deal you’ll need a HDMI cable that comes in the box and no additional configuration is needed.

Software

This is a Symbian^3-powered device but the new version of the platform brings more improvements in graphics multi-tasking and much more. It is also provides a “single click” functionality allowing users to work with other devices via HDMI port.

UI

By default, the smartphone offers three desktops with different widgets and icons. On the desktop we can see the main indicators showing battery level, the level of the network operator reception, the time and date, and elected a sound profile. But this doesn’t mean we can’t display call, messaging, network indicators and Internet connections.

Totally we can accommodate up to 6 different widgets that can be installed with shortcuts and quick access so we’ll have 24 widgets in the desktop.

Of course, the Nokia E7 provides built-in themes. They are simple, without frills, the changes affect mostly only the color palette. On each desktop can be set your own theme, and any picture. Additional themes for Nokia can be downloaded from Ovi Store.

Main Menu

The only physical button of the calls the main menu which represents the 12 icons displayed as icons or list. Each icon can be moved to another folder and renamed. Pressing on the button for a long time we can open an application manager. The view of app list is different in portrait and landscape modes.

Virtual keyboard

The virtual keyboard can be called from each application that allows users to enter characters. For this deal we have to turn it into a horizontal position. On the bottom row of the keyboard are the Close key, the Shift key (double clicking on it we turn it on Caps Lock), etc.

The contact list can display entries from the SIM, phone and simultaneously from these two sources. For each subscriber can be assigned multiple phone numbers or an email address, fax number, personal data (birth date, name of spouse and children), the organization name, title, and even the name of the Secretary.

You can easily find the needed contact. Of course, there are also a log of dialed, received and missed calls, and the possibility to assign tones, images and short video for each contact.

Email

The Nokia E7 has got a special Email-client that emphasizes we have a deal with a business smartphone. E-mail is displayed in real time using the Mail for Exchange. A special widget located on the desktop displays information about the content of the mailbox. Creating a new mailbox does not make much effort: to help this deal there is an intended automatic wizard that helps to create a mailbox and set up an account.

The phone will automatically sync with the server and receive information on a mailbox, but on your choice it can download only headers or all the letters in fully.

To a composing mail you can attach files in .doc, .xls, .ppt, .pdf, .zip formats, plus different pictures, videos and audio files.

Office applications

The Nokia E7 comes with pre-installed Office programs. It can be called from Office menu providing following apps:

  • file manager
  • calculator

The File Manager lets you access to the phone’s memory. From here you can manage your files: view them, copy from device to device, delete, create new folders. It’s very easy to work with files as once you select them the pop-up menu will offer all actions that are available at the moment. This app also lets to format the storage.

You can also integrate this feature with your phone book and calendar transferring the needed information to the contacts.

Conclusion

In general, the overall impression of the smartphone Nokia E7 is very positive. Yes, it is heavier than other models, but taking in hand, you feel its weight and power of a business smartphone. The camera lacks autofocus, but except the macro shots it can capture HQ pictures.

Anyway regardless the little lacks we discovered in this phone it’s a high-end smartphone. But that’s not the all as the Nokia E7 is a business smartphone with dedicated apps. So our verdict is positive and we think the smartphone is quite worthy to be called the best device of Nokia for now.
