The Nokia E6 is a high-class business smartphone, which is packed with many awesome features and offers many interesting capabilities. Usually, by saying “business smartphone” we mean “blackberrish” handsets, i.e. devices in monoblock form-factor. Usually they look like to each other, but under the hood they are quite different. Canadian RIM is the absolute leader in this area, but when the Nokia E6 was launched, many geeks started to think this handset а worthy opponent for the powerful army of BlackBerry.

Now we want to introduce you a special post, which shows how you can add your favorite contacts to your Nokia E6′s homescreen for faster access.

Before we start, I have to say you can locate 20 contacts there, but only 4 of them can be seen.

Generally, Symbian Anna comes with the contacts widget on board which can be confused easily because it doesn’t have a special name and is located left to the Add label with the text “Add your most important contacts here.” Tap the contact you want to add and press OK. But you do not have to do it every time you need to add more than one contact — you can pick multiple contacts, and then simply tap OK at the end to add them all in one go.

Once you add at least one contact, you can see the Remove button next to Add. As you see, it is quite easy to manage your contacts and add or remove them on/from the homescreen. And though only 4 contacts can be seen at a time, you can swipe and choose whichever you want. Then you can do whatever you want — send text, pictures, messages, call and so on.
