There has bee recently officially announced about the new internet tablet from Nokia, known as Nokia N900. The management of this device is made by using the operating system of Maemo 5.
This is the first model of the manufacturer supporting a work in the mobile network and, as the models of N810 and N800, represents itself on the same line with Nokia Internet Tablet. The device has a 3.5-inch touch screen display, with a resolution of 800 x 840 pixels, sliding QWERTY-keyboard, GPS-navigator that supports A-GPS, as well as in Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g. There is also an FM-radio and TV-out.
It works on a processor of ARM Cortex-A8, clock frequency equals to 600 MHz. Memory RAM is 256 MB, virtual memory is 768 MB and the Internal is 32 GB. If, in case the existing memory is not enough there is a microSD memory expansion slot supporting cards for up to 16 GB.
There is also a built-in camera with a resolution of 5 megapixels and dual LED backlight and flash. Optics is of Carl Zeiss Tessar (focal length 5.2 mm and lens speed f/2.8).
It has an integrated browser developed by Mozilla, supports Flash 9.4 technology and AJAX.
