The Nokia 100 and the Nokia 101 are going to be launched in India very soon — Nokia India has announced that in a few days the customers will be able to pre-order the handset from Airtel, which is a local carrier.

The Nokia 100 and the Nokia 101 were announced only a month ago becoming Nokia’s cheapest handsets ever, and they’re already heading to India! It’s great, because usually it takes Nokia’s devices rather long to arrive at India.

Both of the handsets are featuring the following specs: 1.8-inch TFT display, 14.9 mm thickness, 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio and  800mAh battery. They are capable of saving 500 phonebook entries and 250 SMS messages. Among the Nokia services, the handsets will sport Nokia Money and LifeTools. The only difference between the handsets is that the Nokia 101 is featuring dual-SIM cards, while the Nokia 100 is lacking this feature.

These Nokia devices are going to be offered by Airtel local carrier. The customers will also get a few benefits from the carrier when purchasing the handsets in the form of 100 minutes of free talk-time with Airtel subscribers and 400 free SMS messages.

The price of the Nokia 100 is going to be Rs 1399 (˜$30), and the Nokia 101 will cost Rs 1699(˜$35).
