There are multiple ways to create a good image for your devices if you’re a manufacturer, but there are only a few ways that will increase the actual sales of the phone. The latest piece of news about the Nokia 3110 seems to be a fairly tale, which might be just a PR step from Nokia.

The story starts with an email from Karin Vaneker, who claims about the fact that a year ago she put her Nokia 3110 somewhere in the house and could not find it. The has turned the house upside down but even then she wasn’t able to find it. Then came the idea of replacing the device with a new one. A whole year later the phone was found by Karin’s daughter. It turned out that the device was left in the vase between the “Tulips and Narcissuses.”
The owner of the gadget makes us believe that she was skeptical about whether the device would still function, but her sister was claiming that it “has to work because it’s a Nokia.” And actually it did work. After experiencing a full battery charge, the device started to work the way that it used to do before the mysterious lost.
There’s no way to find out how the device managed to work after a year spent next to the flowers, but it really sounds impressive. Do you also plan to get a Nokia device now?
