The image below is assumed to be the Nokia Lumia 601 leaked in the video of Nokia’s Developers website. The device doesn’t look similar to any previous model of the manufacturer, which leaves a doubt on whether it’s an actual handset or not. But on the other hand, this shot comes from a rather reliable source.

The handset is expected to sport Windows Phone Mango. The codename of the device allows us to think it will be priced less than the Nokia Lumia 710. Still the render serves as a hint the upcoming handset will be equipped with an 8 megapixel camera. This is strange as the Nokia Lumia 710 comes with a 5 megapixel camera.

Considering this render the source claims the camera looks similar to that of the Nokia C7. There’s a chance the Nokia Lumia 600 series will target the camera, which will be a step back to the traditional perception of Nokia as a manufacturer of best camera-smartphones. If this similarity turns into reality, we’ll see the first WP handset coming with EDof, also known as full focus. This means the camera allows to have shots of objects located not far from your location, without the chance of having landscape shots.
