The Nokia C7 (aka Astound) is one of the company’s flagships and one of those few smartphones launched in the US. As you know the C7 was released via T-Mobile with the name Astound and has become very popular in spite of common attitude against Nokia. The phone is packed with many awesome features with which we’ll get acquainted later. Right now I want to inform C7 owners they can update their device to Symbian Belle unofficially, of course.

The Nokia C7 was announced at CTIA 2011 and attracted specialists’ attention with its distinctive specs list. Firstly, it refers to the Nokia C7’s eco-friendly nature. Secondly, we must note its 8MP camera, which can easily be compared with the Nokia N8’s 12MP snapper, let alone the beast it turned into after Symbian Anna update. Symbian Anna brought faster browser, activated NFC functionality and made it easier to communicate with friends in social networking sites deepening the integration with the latter.

Moreover, the phone became so beloved that its luxury version was launched too. It was called the Nokia Oro. The developers do their best to bring all favorite apps to this handset. I mean Angry Birds and Swype (in portrait mode).

Plus, the phone is very reliable in terms of resistance, and it won in a drop test over the iPhone 4.

I am introducing all its advantages, because after Symbian Belle update the Nokia C7 will become even more powerful. Taking into account its affordable price Nokia can benefit from this deal, though I don’t get why Nokia left this handset out of its “to get Belle update officially” list. Anyway, below we have a video introducing the process of updating for which you must have Symbian Anna on the phone and use Phoenix tool. Good Luck!
