A little firmware update for the Nokia E6 is released. The update will bring the OS to version 22.014, add some new features and fix some bugs that were discovered in Symbian Anna.

The update is expected to make the Nokia E6 more stable and to reduce the problems with the Application Manager. They say it will also update the USB connectivity, Web (the browser is updated to version 7.3.1.37, and it’s faster now) and Social apps.

The update isn’t available OTA (yet?), so if you want it, you can get it from the Ovi Suite. And if you’ve already received it, please let us know what other new things it contains! :)

The Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7 are the first smartphones to get the famous Symbian Anna update, so they are the first phones to get the 22.014 update.

The Nokia E6 isn’t a new smartphone, but it’s very popular now. It has a 2.46-inch touchscreen, a physical QWERTY keyboard, an 8MP camera (can record 720p videos, too) and 8GB of internal memory. It also has Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity. Together with Symbian Anna it’s a great choice for those who love social networking and messaging.
