Nokia E63 mobile phone was announced by the manufacturer in November 2008. Nokia E63 is the first E-series smartphone with QWERTY-keyboard, which is not aimed at business users. Executed in red and blue blocks Nokia E63 smartphone is designed more for young people. Nokia E63 has a relatively low price for such models and has a 3,5 mm jack for headphones, which have not occurred earlier in the E series. Nokia E63 can be considered a democratic version of the Nokia E71business smartphone, with which the device has almost identical characteristics.

In order to reduce the price, Nokia E63 manufacturer has replaced the metal parts with plastic shell, refused from the GPS receiver and an infrared port. In the Nokia E63 the number of megapixels in the camera are reduced from 3 to 2 (respectively the video resolution was reduced from VGA to QVGA), and there is no autofocus. The manufacturer removed the front camera for video conferencing, although both devices work in 3G networks. Nokia E63 can be used as a flashlight at night.

It is clear that a significant difference in the cost of Nokia E63 and Nokia E71 will determine the choice of many people in favor of a cheaper mobile. The nice look of Nokia E63 is much more apparent when comparing this smartphone with models of lower grade. Nokia E63 has a full functionality of a business phone.

Nokia E63 gives the opportunity to listen to music through headphones for many hours with a microSD card up to 8 GB. This combination of features at a relatively low price makes Nokia E63 a perfect alternative for business and sociable young people.
