The Symbian^3-powered Nokia E7 was announced last year in London, during the Nokia World 2010. The smartphone is already available in the U.S., Australia and many European and Asian countries.

Some days ago this smartphone became available in the UK via different carriers, and now Three UK is also offering it for free with £35 (about $58) and £40 ($66) contracts.

Sylvia Chind, Head of Branded Handsets, said, “We are delighted to be stocking another Nokia flagship handset. This feature-packed smartphone comes equipped with a HDMI cable allowing our customers to watch videos on a big screen in the comfort of their own home.”

The Nokia E7 is a cool business smartphone with a large 4 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 640 x 360 and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Other features include a 680 MHz processor, 256 MB RAM, 1 GB ROM; the operating system, as I have already mentioned, is Symbian^3.

The smartphone has 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded to 32GB via a microSD card slot. The MicroUSB 2.0, 3.5 mm headset jack, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, the FM Radio and the Music Player of the phone are also worth mentioning.

The camera is 8 megapixel only, with dual LED flash – not as powerful as Nokia N8’s, of course, but it can take good photos and record 720p HD videos anyway.

As for the battery, it’s 1200 mAh and provides up to 9 hours of talk time and about 18 days of stand-by time.

By the way, the Nokia E7 comes in five different colors — Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue and Orange.
