We paid more-than-necessary attention to the Nokia Lumia 710, and it was not accidental. Yes folks, this handset can’t be compared with the Nokia Lumia 800 in any aspect but the software. Nevertheless, the Lumia 710 has a real distinctive feature — it will be available in the US. So let’s take a quick look at this smartphone.

The Nokia Lumia 710 is the company’s second handset with Windows Phone 7.5 Mango on board and it will be sold in the US via T-Mobile starting January 11. Its price is affordable — $50 with an agreement, so there is no fault as to its cost, which means we can calmly plunge into the world of its features.
As you are aware from our Nokia Lumia 710 design review its dimensions are very comfortable, just 119×62.4×12.5mm. Other than that, it weighs 125.5 grams. We can say this is a standard for Windows Phone-powered handsets launched in the US — take T-Mobile’s another WP device, the HTC Radar (it has similar dimensions, 120.5×61.5×10.9mm (though it weighs 137 grams)) and AT&T’s “WP representative,” the Samsung Focus Flash (it comes with 116.1×58.7x11mm and weighs 116.2 grams).
As for its features, the Lumia 710 is packed with a 3.7-inch touchscreen, which makes geeks surprised at its brightness. The device already sports 512MB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 5MP camera and a 1300mah battery. At first sight this is a great handset without any shortcomings, alas, it’s not so — the Lumia 710 features very small storage space and lacks a front facing camera.
