The interest towards WP Nokia handsets in Singapore was so high that potential customers were willing to wait for up to 8 hours in a line to be able to get the Nokia Lumia 800 as soon as possible. But wait. I guess the reason of the huge line was the idea of receiving Xbox 360 with Kinect for free for the first 100 customers. This is one of the best options for promotion, because if the WP handset is something new, then the Xbox 360 is something long desired by local customers.

The customers were so excited that some of them even painted Nokia logos on their body. The novelty will be available at the price of $775. This is not that much taking into account the specs list it comes equipped with. The Nokia Lumia 800 sports a 3.7 inch display, WP Mango, an 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, a dual-LED flash, 512 MB of RAM, a 1.4 GHz processor and a 1450 mAh battery.

The novelty is already available in the UK and Canada with the promise to get released in the U.S. in 2012. Singapore was the next; we’ll see how many countries will have the chance to have the Lumia 800.
