As “the best ever launch” the Nokia Lumia 800 continues to be a subject of various speculations both among general consumers and mobile geeks. We are now informed it will be soon available in its unlocked version as well.

Previously it was announced the SIM free version of the Nokia Lumia 800, already available through carriers on their monthly plan basis, will not appear until January 2012. And there are indeed plenty of people patiently waiting for that time, but now they can be happier since Clove announced it is going to be available very soon, probably on December 6. What the reason is behind this nobody knows yet, but pre-orders are already accepted for purchase for £329 plus VAT, roughly $575.
Interestingly, WMPoweruser says the Nokia Lumia 800 operating on Windows Mango is getting some advantage over Android handsets on Vodafone, in fact at Vodafone’s online store it’s second only to the iPhone 4S. The same thing is happening in Netherlands. In particular, the Cyan model of the handset is more demanded than the Blackberry Bold 9900, the White iPhone 4S, the HTC Sensation and the Samsung Galaxy S.
