Is everything OK these days in the Kingdom of Denmark? Apparently yes, since the pattern of leading smartphone brands did no change in Denmark too. As everywhere now, the first in popularity is the Apple iPhone 4S, but the next is as you surely guessed the Nokia Lumia 800. The latter is the next choice model after the iPhone at all Danish carriers.
Morten Steen Jensen, purchasing manager at TDC, which is Denmark’s largest telecom company said, “We have since Friday experienced the same demand, as shown by the introduction of the iPhone 4S. Lumia 800 has sold more than three times as much as number two on our sales charts.” He adds that one third of those who preferred the Nokia Lumia 800, took the pink or blue model and not the black one.

Telia sales director Michael Bech said that though the Nokia Lumia 800 cannot now be compared to the iPhone 4S, nevertheless the device is the carrier’s second most popular device, giving better sales than the Nokia N8 and N9 at their launch.
Telenor and 3 Denmark carriers also expressed positively about the Lumia 800, telling that customers love it for its high reliability and smooth design.
