I think that most of you will agree that the 3.5-inch display of the Nokia N8 is great for reading. Of course, a smartphone is less comfy than a laptop or a tablet. Still those who are on their way to work or somewhere else will have to read from a smartphone anyway. Let’s have a look at the available reading applications for the Nokia N8.

Quickoffice — this application is, in fact, a very useful one for working with documents. You can use it for reading MS Office files. You don’t have to worry about formatting the text, which is a problem for most of the other reading apps. So this is a must-have app for anyone who loves reading.

Smart Office – this is another good option with a nicer interface and the ability of reading PDF files. As far as I know the application is free, so it may be an alternative to Quickoffice, if you do not want to install a pirated version of it or spend money.

ZXreader2 – although this application has a lot of  advantages, I still did not like it.  It needs some time to get used to and thus it’s not that great. Also you might have problems with texts in various formats.

Untaba — this is one of the most useful reading applications. You can open text files of almost all available formats. It also has a virtual library where you can download books adapted for Untaba. The app requires Internet access. Its collection is large enough, plus you have to download the book only once, and it will appear straight in your collection.
