Yesterday Nokia N8 started shipping and those users who had pre-ordered the phone via Nokia Online Shops and Nokia retail stores will receive their devices firstly.

The smartphone is based on the new Symbian which allows users to run multiple apps and switch between them easily. The device is also equipped with the world’s best phone-camera – 12Mp, you can get HQ photos and HD videos, share them or transfer large files via USB-on-to-go or upload photos to social networks straight from the homescreen.
As the latest version of Ovi Store is available on the Nokia N8, it gives an easy access to more apps like Need for speed or Tesqo. Also, with Ovi Maps you have drive and walk navigation in more than 70 countries worldwide. Now the users can download the latest version of OviMaps from Nokia Beta Labs which features visibility to public transport in 85 cities around the world. the app has got a real-time traffic, safety camera alerts, visibility to parking and petrol stations, and speed limit warnings.
