The Nokia N8 was launched last year but it’ll surprise us with its camera’s abilities for a long time. I am not going to list the advantages of 12MP camera, but if you like to visit exotic locations and want to capture some video footage during your swimming in the deep blue ocean, the Nokia N8 can be very useful for this deal. One guy has done it with this handset, and look what happened.

According to an article over on Daily Mobile, a guy who was on vacation in Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh decided to record a short film about underwater life and used for it its Symbian^3 powered Nokia N8 and $2 zip lock splash bag.

The video lasts more than a minute so it wouldn’t take you too long to check out the video below and enjoy the beauty of a crystal clear sea and a brightly colored fish.

Agree, that looks pretty cool, and I guess many users decided to use their Nokia N8 for underwater shooting too.

The Nokia N8 surprises with its 12MP camera, but the phone boasts other awesome features too, for example Symbian^3 platform, 680MHz processor, 16GB memory card, 512MB ROM. It also supports 3G HSDPA network providing 10.2 Mbps internet speed. It sports 1200mAh standard battery providing up to 3.5 hours of talk time and 400hours of stand-by mode in 3G network.

Furthermore, the phone’s price was cut to €299 which means it has become available for more people.
