Do you think Nokia works only on devices based on Symbian and Windows Phone 7? Of course, NO. We have talked about Nokia’s MeeGo-based smartphone for many times, but since it’s just an experimental device, some geeks are not sure it will succeed. The Meego-based Nokia N9 is the next handset from Nokia’s N line, and now we have interesting news about it.
On Thursday, Stephen Elop showed us a new device. This fact made many people think this was the rumored MeeGo device. This incident became a fertile ground for discussions, and I met one of them in Maemo forums, where the Nokia N9 was introduced in a drawing view.
The picture only shows that the device will sport a 4.5-inch touchscreen — that’s all we can say when looking at the pic. But it is not surprising as when the phone got FCC approval it was clear. Anyway, the Nokia N9 is in works, and I am sure we’ll get it soon. My confidence is based on the statements made earlier, when Nokia said the smartphone will be launched this year. Before that Nokia Connect is expected — it will take place on June 21, and probably the handset will be announced at this event.
