On September 25th Nokia set a new record making the biggest cinema screen. It happened in Rosengard, Sweden, it was 1,428 square metre (that’s 51 metres x 28 metres), the previous record was set in Great Britain and the screen was measured 51m x 28m.

Aproximately 1500 Swedes were watching The prince of Persia on the huge screen and all of them were surprised of the Nokia N8’s features, as the movie was shown through the Nokia N8’s mini HDMI port and sent to four XLM HD30 projectors and the screen was held by two giant cranes.
I think this is a great marketing strategy to increase Nokia N8’s sales, though it was not an easy task, as it took a lot of planning, people and specialized equipment to make sure it all comes together.
