At the Nokia World 2011 we saw many awesome gadgets and it refers not only to smartphones. We were all waiting for Nokia’s first Windows Phone Mango-powered device, but the company surprised us with its new software and hardware products. Among them we must mention the Nokia Lumia 800, the Lumia 710, the Nokia Purity headphones, Nokia Drive and so on. This list shows how serious Nokia is and analysts concluded Nokia will reestablish its authority. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen and now we can claim the sales of Nokia’s first Windows Phone-flavored smartphone’s are too low.

This information comes from Bloomberg, which claims Nokia will ship one million units and only 500 000 of them will reach end-users. And this is when Nokia Lumia 800’s price is 420 EUR (US$567). Earlier we said analysts recommend that the company cuts the prices for its upcoming devices in favor of making some competition. However, Nokia won’t put its weapon down without a fight. I mean the company’s set a serious strategy and it sticks to every point of its plan.
And now that everyone’s crying at the top of their voices about Nokia’s failure, I am sure Stephen Elop knows what he’s doing and in the near future we’ll see Nokia coming back.
