We are already accustomed to hearing about the successful march of the Nokia Lumia 800 on a global level. Nokia realizes very well that it must seize the moment and use this opportunity to push its landmark device to as many countries as possible until its fame is overshadowed by some other device from its competitors. Nokia has even published a world map to show where and which devices will be launched.

Do not think this conquering march is not made on a random basis, but the sequence of countries where the Lumia 800, the Lumia 900 and the Lumia 710 will go is chosen very carefully. For example, no one knows why the Lumia 900 will not be available in the UK in the near future, as it is announced for the US.
Nokia’s next travel is to South Africa, where smartphone community is aware of the Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 close arrival. The exact date is not disclosed but the two handsets will be launched in SA in the first quarter of 2012. Nokia seems to be confident that its flagship will get warm welcome in the southern part of Africa, where the most popular handsets up to now are reportedly the Samsung Omnia 7, the HTC Trophy and the HTC Mozart.
