Phone manufacturers respond very quickly to their user reports. It can’t be otherwise, because current mobile world is developing so fast that companies have to be informed about what’s going on in there to come up with an appropriate solution. I think you already guessed I am talking about Nokia’s announcement on rolling out an update to fix the Nokia Lumia 800 battery issues.
We talked about this issue yesterday, and as you remember I even said there are users who updated their handsets to 7740 OS but the problem is still there. Though till today the Finnish company hadn’t made any announcement on this case, I deeply believed we’d have some news from Nokia. Now I proudly say in coming months Nokia will launch two updates to fix the currently discovered problems on the Lumia 800. Nokia’s official statement reads:
“A software update in early December will include improvements to power efficiency, while a second update in early January introduces further enhancements to battery life and battery charging. Both are planned updates and will be made available via Zune.”
As for now I’d ask you not to load your mind with negative attitude towards Nokia and not to try to find out whose at fault for this. Many of you might even think Nokia was wrong and its Lumia series smartphones are not the ones to save the company from collapse, but wait a second. Do not forget the Lumia 800 is not the only handset with such a problem. There is “your favorite” iPhone 4S.
