Earlier Nokia announced that they were not going to stop developing Symbian-based smartphones during the coming years. Moreover, the Finnish company promised to continue pushing out updates for its Symbian devices until 2016.
It kept its promise and released updates for its native OS, giving them female names: Symbian Anna not so long ago (some Nokia devices are already running it!), and now it’s Symbian Bella’s turn. We’ve heard Nokia is going to release four new smartphone running Symbian OS’s new version.

Surprisingly, these new devices received female names, too — the Nokia Helen, the Nokia Zeta, the Nokia Fate and the Nokia Cindy. They are all equipped with 1GHz processors and screens with a resolution of 360 x 640 pixels.
Probably the most powerful of these smartphones is the Helen (aka Nokia 701) that sports an 8MP camera and a 3.5-inch LCD touchscreen. It is going to be a worthy successor of the Nokia Astound and, according to Russian tech analyst Eldar Murtazin, it will be available in September.

Other three handsets are packed with 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreens, but they are not like each other in every aspect, though the Zeta (aka Nokia 700) provides NFC chip like the Cindy (aka Nokia 600) and they both have 5MP cameras. It is also going to be the thinnest smartphone ever launched.
Unlike these two smartphones, the Nokia Fate (aka Nokia 500) doesn’t support NFC functionality, but it is going to be available for quite an affordable and attractive price.
No certain words about the price of these four smartphones, but they are going to be mid-range handsets, so I think they won’t cost much. Well, it seems everything is OK, and if these devices have stylish design, it’ll help Nokia to restore its popularity in some sense.
