I guess everyone will agree with me if I say that this year wasn’t successful for Nokia. I am not even talking about the financial results, but the antipathy formed around its products especially in U.S. Anyway, I still remain a big fan of Nokia and I have always believed that one day this company will say its word.

Now it looks like my little dream has come true. Nokia will exhibit in a 2,300 square meter space at MWC 2012 where Stephen Elop will be a keynote speaker.

During the last two years Nokia didn’t impress the mobile world. It was especially noticeable at the most important events of the year, MWC. But as GSMA press release claims there will more than 200 other app-specific exhibitors located in the App Planet hall and Nokia will join them, too. So this means Nokia will use 30 percent of the 7,500 square meter space.

As I’ve already mentioned, Stephen Elop will be a keynote speaker, though he is not listed in the confirmed keynote speakers list. But this doesn’t mean I lied because Nokia Communications Director Mark Squires tweeted about it. So we have no reason not to believe him, moreover, we all understand Nokia will introduce its Windows Phone devices at the event, and no one can do it better than Elop.

I guess all Nokia fans are waiting for the WP-powered handsets to be released sooner, on October 26-27, during Nokia World 2011.
