Finally, we have a chance to see the newest Symbian UI running on current devices. A promo video made for Three UK Show surfaced over the net. The commercials for the Nokia E6 and X7 were quickly made private on YouTube, but thanks to a tipster who has uploaded the Nokia X7 video on his channel, our readers can watch it.
Anyway, it’s nice to see the new Symbian UI in action, because we thought it wouldn’t be available until fall. This is one of those reasons why we tend to think the London event taking place today will be more interesting than it has been expected.

I am almost sure Nokia will focus on this deal today, and if I learn anything new about this, I’ll inform you as soon as possible. But from the video below we can see flexibly sized widgets and a portrait keyboard.
The Nokia X7’s browser looks quite polished, and it is good the Finnish company is working on improving the Symbian operating system. That’s clear, and now we are waiting for the promised 1GHz+ and dual-core smartphones this year. The latest changes made in Symbian UI were the Nokia Sans fonts that were replaced with the new Nokia Pure.
Well, today’s event will give answers to many questions, so let’s wait.
