The tough competition of the mobile manufacturers sometimes turns into a mobile war with rather interesting consequences. Get this! Nokia hired one of the key employees of the Canadian corporation RIM – Sharmain Eggberri. Prior to that, she worked as Managing Director and Vice President of BlackBerry manufacturer in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Nokia N9 New Video

Thanks to TechnoBuffalo we got another video showing the possibilities of not-yet- announced smartphone Nokia N9. It is interesting that during the testing the device shuts down and the process of restoring its capacities  fails. Journalists believe that the Finnish company managed to remotely lock the prototype of the device. The first information about the Nokia N9 emerged last week. Most of us are familiar with the Symbian-Guru which is presenting lots of news and interesting facts about the latest updates and improvements about the Symbian OS- the main operating system for Nokia. And now get this- the guy who used to update the blog now decided to quit it. He’s no longer going to make any posts about the Nokian devices! What the hell is going on? MeeGo Already On Nokia Devices!

Nokia N9 To Have 4-inch Touchscreen?

Earlier we had some info that the upcoming Symbian^3 device is going to be equipped with a typical 3.5-inch touchscreen. But judging from the photo in which iPhone4, HTC EVO4G are shot next to it, the screen is much bigger. We see that the screen of the new model, so far known as Nokia N9, is much bigger than the one for iPhone 4, but slightly smaller than EVO 4G’s screen. MeeGo in Nokia Portfolio

Nokia has apparently serious aims to promote the new platform for mobile devices- MeeGo. At one of the conferences on prospects of development, Nokia was spotted on a portfolio wallpaper with a reference to MeeGo. What could this imply?
