The Nokia N8 is a rather demanded smartphone. I think this is one of the main reasons why Nokia decided to offer it in a new color. Pink has been chosen to be the 2011 year color by Pantone, maybe that’s why the new Nokia N8 will come in pink.

Except of the color, the rest of the features of the smartphone are kept the same, including the 3.5 inch AMOLED display, the powerful 12 megapixel camera and HD video recording capabilities. Next to these there are a few female-targeted pinkish apps. I simply enjoyed the ELLE fashion app (tells the latest news about the fashion, celebrities and elite lifestyle) and Little Pink Diva Theme (which adds bright shades of the pink and other stylish colors to the menu). Another great app is the Pink Neon Clock to make sure you’re not late from your date.
Rachael Bell, Nokia Senior Designer, says the following about the device:
“Following the fantastic response to the range of colors we launched for the Nokia N8, it seemed a natural step to extend this choice. The Nokia N8 in pink complements the original line up well with its expressive, intense hue.”
Among the typical Nokia features you will also find everything connected with Nokia’s Ovi brand: Ovi Maps, Ovi Store and much more.

I think the device will turn into a Nokia bestseller as it has so many advanced features that there’s no way of avoiding its charm. And plus the female targeting is a good policy for the manufacturer.
