What does Symbian Belle look like? Well, let’s have a look how it works on the Nokia 600 and the Nokia N8. In case of the first handset we have the official update, while for the Nokia N8 the OS version is not official, though Nokia has promised to make it available soon.

Here’s what the update brings to the Nokia 600:

  • The Red cancel button is now also used as a power on/off key.
  • The Nokia 600 is announced to be the loudest phone with its digital sound technology, while it’s the Nokia 700 that has a front-facing speaker grille.
  • Great animation program, fading in/out the delays and directing attention straight to the present display.
  • No default folders for the applications. This means that you can add the apps into the desired folders and order them with names you desire. Another option is to keep them all together on the screen of your handset.

For the Nokia N8 we don’t have Symbian Belle, but the officials from Nokia promise to get the update for most of its Symbian^3 handsets in Q4.
