We’ve got a new tweet from Nokia mentioning that they are starting the shipments of two of their Symbian Belle handsets — the Nokia 700 and the Nokia 701. These are actually the first devices to be shipped after the big crisis of the manufacturer.

These two handsets seem to come within the same series, but they are rather different in terms of hardware features. The Nokia 700 is sporting a 3.2-inch AMOLED display packed in a super slim body, while the Nokia 701 comes with a 3.5-inch IPS LCD display and larger dimensions. Here the 701 the winner is not only for the larger resolution of the display but also for the display’s quality — IPS LCD screens are usually the brightest ones so far.
The main common feature of the handsets is the 1GHz processor, which allows to have quick web-browsing and increased overall performance. The speed test of the Nokia 700 and the Nokia 701 has long been available even before the announcement of their launch date, so you can check it out.
The rest of the specs of the Nokia 700 include a 5MP camera, 2GB of internal memory, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and NFC support, as for the Nokia 701, we have the following features: an 8MP, 8GB of internal memory and the same connectivity as for the Nokia 700.
