Nokia E7 and ClearBlack videos

Nokia’s ClearBlack technology is very actual nowadays, and though the Nokia E7 and the Nokia C6-01 are quite different devices and are designed for different market segments, but they are the first smartphones with this technology which provides richer colors and no screen reflection.

The Nokia E7 is going to hit the market early in 2011. The phone is similar to the N8 made of the same range of metal and glass components, but it is slimmer and has a smaller camera housing, which gives the phone a solid view.

The handset sports a 4 inch touchscreen and a sliding full QWERTY keyboard, so we can’t wait to get our hands on the E7, because with these features email and messaging will be like a dream. I don’t speak about its gaming capabilities, as the phone is classified to be a business smartphone.

Below is a video demonstrating Nokia E7’s functionality running Symbian^3. And I guess this phone will be more popular than the N8 is. Check out the video and let us know whether it yields other praised smartphones.

Here is another video, which shows the new ClearBlack technology, and the cases where it shows excellent.

Nokia N9 To Have 4-inch Touchscreen?

by L.K. - on Jul 1st 2010 - No Comments

Earlier we had some info that the upcoming Symbian^3 device is going to be equipped with a typical 3.5-inch touchscreen. But judging from the photo in which iPhone4, HTC EVO4G are shot next to it, the screen is much bigger.

We see that the screen of the new model, so far known as Nokia N9, is much bigger than the one for iPhone 4, but slightly smaller than EVO 4G’s screen.

Anyways, the display of the screen is rumored to be 360X640 pixels, which is too small for the 4-inch screen! All of this will soon drive us crazy, so let’s stop here and recall the main specs of the device which are already announced.

This includes an 8 megapixel camera with LED Flash, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HDMI port.
