Nokia has announced about the completion of the acquisition of private U.S. company Motally. The first rumors about the acquisition appeared around the web by the end of the July while everything was officially announced on 20 August of this year.

Recall that the company is developing Motally mobile analytical services for logging and reporting. The Nokia company expects that this acquisition will help the developers and publishers of mobile applications to optimize their mobile applications through a better understanding of how users use their applications.
The new service is expected to get adopted for a list of platforms including Qt, Symbian, Meego and Java. In addition, Nokia will continue to serve the existing customers of Motally, leaving the company at least some part of the time to get adopted to the new service.
