Nokia Lumia 610 Leaked in Indonesian Certification Doc

by Argam - on Feb 17th 2012 - No Comments

When we first heard of the Nokia Lumia 610, it seemed to be the same Lumia 810 and some even argued there’s no such a handset. Finally a leaked certification list for Indonesian carriers revealed the existence of the smartphone.

The device might be released at MWC 2012, still if the manufacturer plans to launch it firstly in Indonesia, its release might be delayed.

The handset will be the cheapest device in Lumia series due to the 6 in the naming, which states at least a 2 point lower price than that of the Lumia 800.

If the launch is delayed, we might get a chance to see a device running Windows Phone Tango. It will be awesome, as the cheap device will get a chance to support the latest OS.

The only specs coming with the leaked doc are the connectivity features including a support for 3G on 2100 band and GSM 900/1800, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Among the rest of the Lumia 610 specs we expect a 3.5-inch display, a not that powerful single-core processor, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and 256MB of RAM. The color of the device will be changeable with the help of covers just like in case of the Lumia 710.

Nokia C3 Successor Dubbed Nokia 302 Leaked

by Argam - on Feb 14th 2012 - No Comments

To connect the next billion Nokia has no reason to launch luxurious, well-looking or high-end smartphones — a few featured phones are already enough for this deal. So the next entry level handset to be launched in Indonesia will be the Nokia C3 successor dubbed the Nokia 302.

Don’t confuse this handset with the Nokia C3-01. The Nokia 302 is the successor of the original C3, thus we are dealing with the improved version of Nokia’s cheapest QWERTY handset.

Besides the QWERTY keyboard the Nokia 302 will sport a 3.2MP camera. That’s all we have at the moment. However, looking at the pictures we can easily conclude this handset will be way cheaper than the original C3 meaning the process of connecting the next billion is on the right track.

Obviously, such handsets can’t solve Nokia’s current “problems.” But you can’t deny either that Nokia is a king in these markets, which is very important for the brand. Moreover, Nokia 302-like smartphones are very popular in the world, as not everyone can afford buying an expensive device.
