WPBench app is very popular and it is used to test speed and performance of different devices. We’ve remembered it because two new Windows Phone devices have appeared in it, and while the first name is more or less familiar to us, the second one is alien. I’m talking about the LG W930 and (drum roll) the Nokia Lumia 930.

At first we thought we are dealing with one of Nokia Lumia 900’s variants as we have already heard about the Lumia 710, which seems to be the European version of the Nokia Lumia 900 packed with a 12MP camera and GSM radio (instead of CDMA). Later 1800PocketPC explained why we can trust such information. Turns out the DeviceID data used in the app can be spoofed, once again. They will be contacting the dev about the vulnerability which means until a fix, DeviceID data should not be trusted from that app.

Of course, we can’t say anything on this, because speculations concerning the Lumia 900 and its various models surface rapidly, and unless Nokia comes with an official statement, it’ll be better to keep up with the original Lumia 900.
