Nokia X7 launch cancelled by AT&T

by Argam - on Jan 17th 2011 - No Comments

It seems AT&T cancelled the release of the Nokia X7 touchscreen which is also called Journey. According to the rumors the carrier had planned to launch the phone on February 13th. Probably you remember Mobile World Congress in Barcelona will take place a day after, so it’s a likely data for Nokia to announce its MWC lineup.

Though it’s just a rumor, but we have all reasons to conclude the Nokia X7 launch  date is closer as many companies started to provide accessories for the Symbian^3-based smartphone like the Body Glove.

No matter when the X7 will be launched, as there are not so many gadgets to be released by the Finnish company. And I think this is only AT&T’s fault because in such situations hardly any company would like not to introduce even one new smartphone while others have launched several devices like HTC, Motorola, etc.

Of course, Nokia has some plans and is going to introduce its next six smartphones in face of Allure, Temptation, Preview, Relate, and Stimulus. That’s true here are only five trademarks, because the sixth one, Captivate, was rejected by the company because of the release of the Samsung Galaxy S variant by that name on AT&T. Though there are not any details about these phones, and we even don’t know what OS they will run or what kind of form factor they will have, I almost do not doubt they will become a reality.

by Argam - on Jan 12th 2011 - No Comments

All the buzzes surrounding Nokia N8 and E7 haven’t yet ceased and Nokia already surprises us with its upcoming E6-00 which is sure to be another sensation. Although the official announcement of the Nokia E6-00 still did not follow, but all the Nokia E6-00 leaks makes us strongly believe in its existence.
Yearn for more? On the official Nokia website was found xml-file which described some of the characteristics that have not yet been advertised about the unannounced E6-00 Smartphone.

Judging from it, the novelty will be equipped with a 640*480 VGA resolution screen which offer higher resolution than the previous Nokia E series handset and ARM CPU. The other specs of the handset include a full physical QWERTY keyboard, possibly GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, HSDPA, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.  As to the camera it will be an 8 mega pixels camera with dual Led flash without autofocus.

The Nokia E6-00 will be announced at the Mobile World Congress, February 2011 so let’s hope that Nokia will introduce something really impressive.

Nokia Strategy and Financial Briefing in London 11th February 2011

by Argam - on Jan 11th 2011 - No Comments

After Stephen Elop headed the Nokia, this is the first Nokia media reach. If you can’t make this small event next month, you will be able watch a live stream of it.

Probably all we wait for the news about Nokia’s current plans for the mobile world and the results of 2010. But many people are waiting for MWC (Mobile World Congress) which will be held from 14 to 17 of February. There also will be a Q&A session too where will be asked many questions.

The company stated that the event will be happening for just half a day starting 11 A.M U.K time.

If you are one of them who would like to be instantly informed about the event all needed details like online registration, venues will be decided in the coming weeks.

It’s a great time for MWC and we hope some awaited devices will be introduced there. And I wonder what you think about Nokia’s strategy or which devices would be unveiled.

The smartphones using MeeGo will have access to the Internet at high speed, show movies of high (HD) quality and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. These devices, according to marketers, will be in demand in the near future.
MeeGo compact operating system for netbooks loads very quickly and works reliably. It is based on Linux technology that allows each user to customize the gadget himself and actively pursue all opportunities of installed applications.
Automobile on-board computers based on MeeGo support all navigation applications, and the car becomes a full-fledged Internet access point, and the driver can, without detracting from the management, use any desired network application – whether the travel information or recording favorite music.
