Why you need to work with Nokia

Here are some thoughts about “Why you need to work with Nokia” session at Nokia Developer Summit.
Crawford Del Prete, the Executive Vice President, presented the session. He has spent 23 years looking at what customers want from their IT platforms and found some interesting factors why developers should be working with Nokia.

Below are 5 points which are the highlights of his presentation:
1. Nokia shares the biggest part of the mobile market, it gets high benefits and these are the markets where the new subscribers will come from. This is due to the following: a big market share > many people trust them > I will do myself.
2. Broadly-based portfolio of goods and services: One of the Nokia’s success keys is the large sector of goods which are in all price points and this means that Nokia devices are for everyone: of course, its devices are equipped with the features which are in the first places of users needs.
3. The next one is the Nokia Life Tool which allows simple users to do things they can’t do because have not enough opportunities.
4. Nokia releases a big volume of products which are low in price and less volume of expensive devices, which makes Nokia a “family” brand.
5. Nokia gets maximal revenues and the purchase of Motally by Nokia will strengthen Nokia’s positions in the market.
Generally, Crawford Del Prete didn’t make any discovery, Nokia users have known about these earlier.
