Nokia Asha 300: Camera Phone(0) Considering its camera capabilities, the Nokia Asha 300 is the most photo-centric device of the the Asha lineup. In contrast to 3.2 and 2 megapixel cameras offered by the rest of devices of the Asha lineup, the Asha 300 comes with a 5 megapixel camera. The feature phone comes with a 2.4 inch display with the support of physical numeric keypad and the Nokia X3Touch and Type and Nokia C3 Touch and Type feature package. As the rest of the devices of the lineup, the Nokia Asha 300 also comes with the support of Angry Birds game. This candybar form factor handset is pretty light with a weight of only 85 grams. It comes with rounded edges and slightly curved back. It’s comfortable to hold and can be even called a compact pocket phone. The device comes in two color options: Black and Red. The device is not that impressive if compared with similar X3 and C3 Touch and Type devices. But if you consider its low price, then you get a reason to purchase this handset. It’ll be available at a price of 85 EUR (around $118). I would call this handset a pretty good offer for those who want to save money and get a stylish device with a touchscreen and a physical keypad. |

Nokia E6 and Nokia C3: Similarities and Differences(0) Nokia is one of those manufacturers that think about each consumer. Just have a look at the Nokia E6 and the Nokia C3. Both handsets are designed for those who love messaging, and the QWERTY keyboards of these smartphones are very comfortable. Though these two are almost the same smartphones at the first sight, the truth is that the E6 and the C3 are quite different. Read on to learn more about the main differences between these devices. The Nokia C3 is made of plastic while the elegant E6 has a hood made of metal and glass. The differences between these two smartphones become more eye-catching when things come to their platforms — the Nokia E6 runs Symbian Anna with all the goodies pre-installed in it while the C3 is powered by the Series 40 OS. Anyway, both smartphones sport QWERTY keyboards, which is the main common feature they have. The layout of their keyboards is quite the same as both devices offer a 37-key array with three rows of 10 keys each and a fourth row with seven function keys, plus Spacebar. The designers decided to shorten the keys on the Nokia E6, as a result the keyboard on the C3 became a little bit longer. I won’t say which one is more comfortable as it depends on users’ tastes. Moreover, designers gave more roundness to the Nokia E6′s keys and we just can’t ignore it. So the Nokia E6 and the C3 are similar in design, but they are quite different inside. So it is logical their prices are also different. The Nokia E6 comes at a price tag of £300 ($483) while the C3 costs only £85 ($137). So we can say the Nokia C3 is a cheaper and weaker version of the Nokia E6. |

Nokia C6 to be the greenest phone(0) According to one of the latest surveys made by Good Guide, 26 of the top 30 greenest models are designed by Nokia. It could be predicted Nokia’s phones will be in leading positions in this term, but I guess no one has expected that about 90% percent of the list would be filled by Nokia. The laboratory’s scientists have rated 576 phones depending on their health, environmental and social performance. And taking into account these aspects they give scores to the cell phones based on energy efficient chargers, environmentally-preferable materials, green production practices, recycling programs, and other factors.
It is important to mention the Nokia C6 is in the first position, so we can write down the greenest phone in the world is the C6. But the top ten list of the greenest phones is formed by other Nokia phones, below is the list:
On the contrary side is RIM and its 17 phones that finish the list as the lowest rated ones earning 3.3 scores. Each of 26 Nokia’s phones score scoring 7.7 or 7.6 out of a possible 10 points. Samsung’s Blue Earth phone came in 27th, followed by Motorola’s Citrus and Ecomoto phones and by Palm’s Pixi Smartphone. For comparison, the Apple’s iPhone has earned 5.7 points and Apple earned this score because of its “ethical policies and performance.”
So before critics decide to predict Nokia’s death, I’ll recommend them to take into account this subjects too. |

The RM-717 has been also approved by the FCC, which means the phone will appear soon, as it is a quad-band GSM/EDGE phone there is no need to worry about the network compatibility. The Nokia X2-01 is not the only phone with S40 QWERTY keyboard of the manufacturer to be launched in the USA and Canada, because there is also the C3.
