The Nokia E66 is one of those phones which are designed for business users. It’s a slide-to-open smartphone which is equipped with many personal and professional messaging features such as Microsoft Exchange Server. The phone comes with pre-loaded Mail for Exchange app allowing to access your mail using easier if you use Exchange Server 2007 at the workplace. The app also allows the users to stay in touch with the task list, notes, calendar when you need it.

The handset also supports other email accounts like Gmail, Yahoo and Hotmail. But this is not all, as there is also Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email solution as the third party email app like System Seven and Visto Mobile.

The fresh press release shows that Nokia has taken into account the desires of the users and has developed a version of Ovi Maps, compatible with former smartphones E71 and E66. However, not all features of new Ovi Maps have been implemented – there are no Guide Michelin and Lonely Planet premium services.

Ovi Maps for E71 and E66 are already available for downloaded from the Ovi Store.

Here we would like to mention Nokia E66 – an analog of Nokia E71 smartphone, deprived of a full-size QWERTY-keyboard and executed in the slider form factor. The corporate design of Eseries line further emphasizes the business status of the model. Compared with its predecessor, Nokia E65, the model lost the strange frivolity in design (for example, the red color version of the case), acquiring solid form and content. Retaining the verified design, excellent ergonomics, decent case materials and build quality (causing criticism in a number of other models of the company), the smartphone has received numerous innovations – such as support for Wi-Fi (in corporate interests it supports all security standards), GPS, 3,2 — megapixel camera with autofocus. The Symbian OS S60 3rd Edition software platform allows you to calculate the abundance of third-party software, including business functions.
