The new application was created in order to help the users of Nokia phones in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of the system, as well as to customize the device. The application can perform network testing, Internet connection, charger connection, speakers, etc. At the moment the application of Nokia Diagnostics works only on the following phones: Nokia X6, Nokia N97, Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia 5800, Nokia 5230 and Nokia 5530. The support for Symbian S60 3rd Edition will be added in the future.

Nokia company released a game for smartphones, where the player is invited to travel by car through the streets of real cities. The game determines the current location of the user, displays a map of the city, where he is, and invites the user to plan routes. There are three different of cars.

In addition to his own city, the player can plot a route on the pre-maps. He can choose 20 tracks, laid on Berlin, Amsterdam, London and other famous European cities.
The application can be downloaded free for a limited period of time in the Ovi Store. It is compatible with all Nokia smartphones, having a touch screen and based on the Symbian ^ 1 platform (S60 5th Edition), including Nokia N97 mini and Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition. Nokia Custom Dictionary is fully operational on the following phone models: Nokia E63, Nokia E71, Nokia 5800 and Nokia X6. Application may have a slight problem on Nokia E72, Nokia E75, Nokia E52, Nokia E55, Nokia N97 and Nokia N97 Mini. On old phones (eg, Nokia N96, Nokia N95, Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N79, Nokia N78 and Nokia N82) the application has limited functionality.

Finnish Nokia has made its Ovi Maps service available for N97smartphone. Until now only owners of Nokia N97 mini, 5800 XpressMusic, 5800 Navigation Edition, E52, E55, E72, 5230, 6710 Navigator, 6730 classic and X6 devices could take advantage of the updated service.

We would like to remind you that the Ovi Maps offers turn-based navigation function for drivers and pedestrians completely free of charge and is available in the form of localized versions for the residents of 74 countries.
In order to work with Ovi Maps N97 users should upgrade the “firmware” of the device to the 2.0.h version. Nokia noted that the updated software platform may be temporarily unavailable in some regions.
