Nokia X5-01 available in India

Nokia has launched its music phone -the X5 in India,which comes with a unique square-slider design. The phone is also targeted at text messaging with its QWERTY keyboard and listening to music with such features as high-quality speakers, dedicated music keys, FM radio and music apps like Surprise Me, Playlist DJ.

The Nokia X5 also sports 5MP camera, Bluetooth, supports Ovi Store and Ovi music, social networking, and provides other useful functionalities like WiFi, microSD and more.

The phone will be sold for RS10499.

New version of Oxygen Phone Manager for the smartphones running Symbian OS is already available. It is designed to manage mobile content from your computer. Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS provides the work with the phone book, calendar, business, pictures, profiles, melodies and messages.

The latest version adds support for a few Nokia devices: Nokia C5-00 (RM-688), Nokia C5-01 (RM-677), Nokia X5-01 (RM-648).

Nokia X5-01 Demonstrative Video

Recently a new video which demonstrates Nokia X5-01 appeared on the web. This time the quality of the video is pretty good and thus we can come up with some clear ideas about what this device is about.
Recall that Nokia X5-01 is a square slider with the QWERTY-keyboard. This new product from Nokia targets the young mobile phone users, as evidenced by the integration of the phone book to work with such popular social networks as  Facebook, MySpace, YouTube. Among the rest of the interesting specs of the smartphone we can mention that it’s running on Symbian S60, and has a small QVGA display and a 5 megapixel camera.
Nokia X5-01 will cost around € 160 ($ 195).
