During Nokia World 2010, which will take place in London on September 14-15, a new smartphone – Nokia E7 will be officially announced, and Nokia N8 will be launched for sale.
These two smartphones have been talked about and rumored so much, that, I guess, there is no need to talk about the technical specs of them.
The biggest manufacturer of mobile phones has given up its positions, that’s why Nokia E7 and N8 are the only hope of the President and CEO of Nokia Corporation to save his career.
Nokia N8 was officially announced in April of this year, but it didn’t receive furious public reaction, which made Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo worry about his career.
Nokia N8 is surely a remarkable device with 12 Mpx camera, 3.5-inch display and 16 GB of internal flash memory, but the main disadvantage of it is the OS – Symbian^3. In fact, it is a little bit modified version of the current mobile OS from Nokia, which fell behind the competitors by its opportunities. On the other hand, the price of Nokia N8 is quite attractive.
Not much is known about E7. It’s a horizontal slider, equipped with a QWERTY-keyboard and a large touch screen. This is the second phone from Nokia, running Symbian S ^ 3. More details on this handset will be unveiled next week during Nokia World 2010.
