Nokia did not remain aloof from the unfolded battles between Apple and Adobe and thus commented on the Flash technology. According to Reuters, the representative of the Finnish company Alberto Torres said that Nokia supports and will support Flash technology.
The same opinion was also voiced by the head of the Opera Software- Jon von Tetzchner. At the London Open Mobile Summit Forum, he noted that Flash technology is required for the Internet and the mobile browser Opera will always support it.
It is curious that in early May, spokesman Phillip Gronewold from Opera Software announced that the Norwegian company believes that Flash technology has outdated standards, and thus needs to be replaced by something new.
