The Nokia Lumia 710 is finally available for purchase in most UK locations. The info is officially announced by Nokia reps and corresponding retail stores and mobile operators.

The magenta version of the Nokia Lumia 800 is finally launched in the UK. The launch of this version was expected in November last year, but back then UK operators decided to launch the black-only version. Nokia Lumia 800 has all the chances of invading the UK mobile phone market; it became officially available in the UK territory yesterday. Amazingly, it registered a record number of pre-orders during the period of its pre-orders.

On its Twitter page the manufacturer wrote it loved how the Lumia 800 was received in the UK. Orange in its turn announced it had the largest pre-orders for Nokia handsets. This statement was made even before their marketing campaign had started. As for the Lumia 800, Orange says it is really popular with the UK customers. The success of pre-order numbers can be somehow explained by the fact that Orange announced it would reward certain customers with a free, non-expensive Xbox console if they pre-ordered the Lumia 800. Half of the people pre-ordering the device were to be eligible for the free Xbox.

Meanwhile, Yahoo’s UK page put a well visible advertisement of the Lumia 800 with the chance to play the old good snakes game right away or go to the more detailed description of the phone.
