by Argam - on Jan 17th 2011 - No Comments

Nokia will shut down Ovi Music Unlimited service in Finland, and other countries probably will follow it too. This unpleasant news became known yesterday, when E’s Phone Blog introduced a post where the author was talking how the Ovi Music Service change will affect customers.

Recall, Nokia has announced all its new customers would be able to download music from Ovi music during a year without any charge. The service was known as Comes With Music, and the details leaked on January 1st, but the final decision was available for users yesterday. This means starting yesterday Nokia users cannot download their favorite music from the service anymore.

This is a real blow for Nokia as the Ovi Music could compete with Apple’s iTunes platform. The service was moved to the Ovi brand to make it more popular, but as we see some problems didn’t let them to have success.

We’ll wait for Nokia to explain what interrupted them to carry out this project.
