Nokia C3 Successor Dubbed Nokia 302 Leaked

by Argam - on Feb 14th 2012 - No Comments

To connect the next billion Nokia has no reason to launch luxurious, well-looking or high-end smartphones — a few featured phones are already enough for this deal. So the next entry level handset to be launched in Indonesia will be the Nokia C3 successor dubbed the Nokia 302.

Don’t confuse this handset with the Nokia C3-01. The Nokia 302 is the successor of the original C3, thus we are dealing with the improved version of Nokia’s cheapest QWERTY handset.

Besides the QWERTY keyboard the Nokia 302 will sport a 3.2MP camera. That’s all we have at the moment. However, looking at the pictures we can easily conclude this handset will be way cheaper than the original C3 meaning the process of connecting the next billion is on the right track.

Obviously, such handsets can’t solve Nokia’s current “problems.” But you can’t deny either that Nokia is a king in these markets, which is very important for the brand. Moreover, Nokia 302-like smartphones are very popular in the world, as not everyone can afford buying an expensive device.

A huge army of Nokia fans are looking forward for the delayed smartphone Nokia E7 to appear on sale, and I have some good news on this occasion. Nokia announced that its smartphone Nokia E7 can already be pre-ordered in Finland and Sweden with a price tag of €599. A novelty will be available in February 2011, judging from the information on the site, believe it or not?

The shipping will cost you some additional € 8, but it’s not a big deal for those who have prepared €599.

Ovi Store App: Swype Video

by L.K. - on Nov 29th 2010 - No Comments

Can’t take your hands off your Swype on our Nokia N8? Well, no doubts with the Swype on board  touchscreen phones lame no more.

Swype is the best typing assistant, that has made a real revolution bringing the texting performance of touchscreen phones on a considerably high level. One top of all it is one of the best apps on the Ovi Store right now.

Join us after the cut to see the app in action.

As we know Swype has come to replace QWERTY on your Nokia N8 or Nokia C7. With Swype typing is a lot more fun as you do not need to press individual keys, you just press the first button and swipe your finger over all the others, until you’ve got  a word.

This way Swype overpass the touchscreen QWERTY in speed, performance and accuracy.  For example if you leave out a letter or swipe over the wrong one while typing,  Swype fixes everything.

Shortly saying the Nokia N8 and Nokia C7 can now boast with their new assistant.

New Nokia Device with 8 MP Camera and QWERTY Keyboard

by L.K. - on Jun 27th 2010 - 1 Comment

Quite a strange image appeared on the Internet. On it there’s a smartphone from Nokia with a QWERTY-keyboard based, apparently, on Symbian OS.

The device has an 8 megapixel camera and seems to have the goal of taking the average price segment. It is unlikely that the phone will be released within the Nseries – despite the fact that such assumptions can be found in many western blogs. Just yesterday, Nokia announced that it will not release any Symbian-device in a series of N. And of course, the photo does not exactly look like N9 – after a 12 megapixel N8 the Finnish manufacturer would not be releasing an 8 megapixel gadget.

Phone looks more like a model for the Eseries. But despite it the visible badge of “C0″ – turns it into a representative of budget C-series. It is noteworthy that the model C0 is already announced in several models and is a very expensive candy bar. But according to the resource itself the device is simply an N9 which is less likely to be true.

Nokia X10 – the first smartphone on the Symbian ^ 3

by nokiamania - on Feb 22nd 2010 - No Comments

The official presentation of Symbian3 platform was held on 15 February. As you know, it carries very interesting and useful changes, which are very useful to Nokia phones users. It was noted that the first smartphone, built on that platform, will be seen in the mobile market in the third quarter of 2010, but how it will be called and what specifications it would have is not yet known.
It is likely that this smartphone can be a kind of Nokia X10, details of which appeared on the web. It is reported that this Nokia device running on Symbian3, is equipped with a QWERTY-keyboard, sliding from the side. Judging by the presented images, the novelty is externally very similar to the known member of X-series Nokia X6.

The information will be displayed on the large 3.2-inch touch screen. The built in memory is 16 or 32 GB. If based on published information, Nokia X10 is be the first Symbian-smartphone with a powerful processor from Qualcomm. It is said that the novelty will be equipped with an ARM Cortex A8 processor, the clock frequency is 600 MHz.
In addition to the described, Nokia X10 is equipped with 256 MB of RAM, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth 2.1 modules, microSD slot for memory cards. It has a 5-megapixel camera, which will be equipped with LED flash, autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics.

Nokia E66 – the best business phone

by nokiamania - on Jan 28th 2010 - No Comments

Here we would like to mention Nokia E66 – an analog of Nokia E71 smartphone, deprived of a full-size QWERTY-keyboard and executed in the slider form factor. The corporate design of Eseries line further emphasizes the business status of the model. Compared with its predecessor, Nokia E65, the model lost the strange frivolity in design (for example, the red color version of the case), acquiring solid form and content. Retaining the verified design, excellent ergonomics, decent case materials and build quality (causing criticism in a number of other models of the company), the smartphone has received numerous innovations – such as support for Wi-Fi (in corporate interests it supports all security standards), GPS, 3,2 — megapixel camera with autofocus. The Symbian OS S60 3rd Edition software platform allows you to calculate the abundance of third-party software, including business functions.

After the success of Nokia E71, the Finnish manufacturer decided to release a new device for employees – Nokia E75 side slider with QWERTY-keyboard. Now all fans of mobile correspondence may deal with more comfort.

4505_nokia_e75_7

If you try to compare Nokia E75 with Nokia E71, it probably will not be a quite right decision. The dev ices are very different – with the case design, keyboard (although even there, there is a QWERTY-layout), the orientation of the display, size, even though they belong to the same series.

4505_nokia_e75_8

Novelty has an acceptable size for this class of devices, Nokia E75 perfectly settled down in the inside pocket of light jackets and particularly was not felt there, though, it weighs 139 grams.

The build quality of Nokia pleases: parts fit perfectly together, no squeaks, not annoying. Metal can be found on the back of the slider at the ends around the display, and cover made from it hides the battery compartment. It is made of corrugated stainless steel, looks good and solid.

At the ends are the volume keys, camera button and voice dialing, microUSB slot and memory card slot. At the upper end there is a standard 3.5-mm jack for headphones. That’s good, because adapter not required.
