The Senior Manager of the Symbian Foundation, responsible for the output, Mark Skrebels in his Twitter account announced the completion of the work for the Symbian ^ 3operating system.

He noted that the functional part of the new OS is fully completed. Now the company will begin work to address various bugs. In doing so, it will help testers of the cellular operators, manufacturers and developers.

It is likely that this step will not take too much time. Because, as we know, quite soon should see the first smartphones based on Symbian ^ 3 – Nokia N8 in the market.

With regard to the release of SDK, in the end of July we will have many new alpha versions of the SDK for Symbian ^ 3. The beta version of the SDK will appear in August, and the final version will be available in October.
