Other than announcing the Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T in the US, Nokia reps announced the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Lumia 710 will be available in Canada as well. The company’s policy in Canada is rather evoking. The manufacturer decided to launch the handset via different carriers. So the Lumia 710 will land on Rogers, while the Nokia Lumia 800 will be released by Telus Canada.

The Lumia 710 will be included in the Rogers affordable lineup with a price tag of $49.99 with a three-year agreement. This is rather cheap, so no surprise the lineup is described as “Smartphone Lite lineup of affordable devices.”

Telus doesn’t provide us with any info concerning the Lumia 800 price or availability dates, it’s just enrolled in the list of “Coming Soon” devices. The handset will apparently cost more than the Lumia 710. The smartphone will be sold in all available colors: black, magenta and cyan. Hopefully we won’t face the situation we had in Europe (Europe got the magenta version a month after the release of the black version).

And finally, will the Nokia Lumia 900 ever get launched in Canada? I believe it will, but no sooner than the second quarter of this year.
