It’s been only a few days the Nokia Lumia 710 is available in the US. The exclusive carrier of the device is T-Mobile, while the locked handset is available via various online stores and retailers. Walmart has come up with the following offer — the customers in the mainland of the US can get the Lumia 710 for free (with a two-year agreement and a data plan), and the Hawaiian customers can have the smartphone paying $18.88. Either way the offer is awesome, especially considering T-Mobile’s original offer. The carrier asks additional $49.99 for the handset within the same contract.

And again we have a misprint in Walmart’s Lumia 710 spec sheet. The store mentions the device runs Windows Mobile 7.5, while we all know the handset runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. Note that there is NO  Mobile 7.5 OS.

As for the unlocked version of the device we strongly suggest that you go for T-Mobile’s offer. The Nokia Lumia 710 is priced at $299 at T-Mobile, while Walmart requires $350. So if you don’t want to pay extra $50, head to T-Mobile’s local stores.

Updated: The mistake on the OS version is corrected.
